Giving Love to Our Sponsors

Events like Yountville Live would not be possible without the love and support from our beloved sponsors. We are blessed to have companies participate not just with a check, but with their heart and soul, and by providing their high quality products, to ensure you have a wonderful time while with us for the weekend.

Celebrity Chef and Music DemonstrationsOur food and beverage sponsors spare no expense to fill your bellies with divine savory and sweet eats and even more delicious drinks.

You be enjoying bites prepared by chefs from restaurants like La Toque, Bottega, Girl & The Goat, Protea, Smoke, and Hurley’s.

If you have eaten at these establishments before, you know you are in for a treat. If you have not [yet], please believe me, you are in for a treat. Not to mention all the crazy cool Instagram photo opportunities you will have. It’s a #foodies paradise.

Grand Cru We’ll have some of the best wineries that Napa Valley offers and one of my favorite breweries refilling your glasses throughout the weekend — Charles Krug, Regusci, Caymus, Jessup Cellars, Raymond, ZD, Peju, Stewart Cellars, Stella Artois, and Beringer to name just a few (there are over 100 wineries supporting this event — while I did not list every one, please know we love* you all!

* Note: this is real love, like we’ll be visiting your tasting rooms real soon and buying bottles of your liquid gold kind of love, not just that lazy simple shout out kind of love.

The folks at DC Solar make sure the lights are always on, and they do so while helping to protect Mother Earth’s resource, thank you for that! And powering the fire to cook ALL THE MEAT (ok, and a few veggies), is Lynx Professional Grills

Our travel partner, Southwest Airlines**, helps bring folks from across the U.S, as well as from the city next door to our quaint town of Yountville. And when they arrive, they’ll have a lovely place to stay if you happen to choose on of our hotel partners.

** If you have not seen the “Live at 35” series hosted by Southwest Airlines, check out these videos now. They surprise guests on select flights with performances from some of our favorite artists. Best inflight entertainment we can think of.

Our media partners like Entercom, SF Magazine and the Academy of Country Music help us get the word out, which is important, as selling tickets helps us keep doing this year after year. Shocker how that works, right?

Sisterhood BandThen we have the chefs and artists who carve out time in their schedule to be part of Yountville Live. Their artistry comes across their various platforms and each one creates a unique experience for our attendees.

Some of them carry names you will recognize. Others have been hit makers for years — both in music and in restaurants — but you may not realize that until you research them (happens to me all the time).

You’ll soon be filling your music library with their songs and making reservations to eat in their restaurants, and be very happy that you did, both.

While not a typical type of sponsor, they do support this event and deserve a mention here. When you realize all the talent that comes together for this one weekend, you’ll find yourself rushing over to that [buy tickets] button if you have not done so already.

Thanks to these sponsors, you will [hopefully] discover your new favorite artist or chef and be able to get up close and personal to them during this event. Help us show them love by giving them your business when you can. Thank you.

Stories Behind The Song featuring Emerson Hart, David Ryan Harris, and David Hodges

Join good friends and incredibly talented artists and songwriters in their own right Emerson Hart, David Ryan Harris and David Hodges as they do an “in the round” guitar pull telling the stories behind some of the greatest hits they either sang or had a hand in writing.

Emerson Hart

Songwriter, producer, vocalist and guitarist, is best known as the frontman for the multi-Platinum selling band Tonic who had smash hits “Open Up Your Eyes” and “If You Could Only See.” I think I played this album on repeat for six months straight. So, so good. Though now that I think about it, I do think there needs to be more songs about girls with hazel eyes. We are an underrated bunch.

Yountville Live veteran, Hart has had great success as a solo artist as well releasing two albums and hand-picked Harris and Hodges to join him for this event.

David Ryan Harris

Critically acclaimed singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist that has built an impressive catalog in a near three-decade career in early bands such as Follow For Now, Brand New Immortals and has amassed a great fan base with seven full-length solo albums, the latest of which was released in June of 2017 Songs For Other People.

Harris is also highly celebrated for producing, writing and/or performing with the likes of John Mayer, Dave Matthews, India.Arie and more. There are so many “Reasons Why” I love David Ryan Harris, but his raw talent is leaving me speechless, so I have “Nothing More To Say” right now. See what I did there? Right, moving on…

David Hodges

David rounds out the three remarkable talents as a songwriter, producer, composer and vocalist who might be best known as a member of the GRAMMY-Award winning group Evanescence, who sold over 16 million albums worldwide. Their first full-length album, “Fallen” was another record that I played on repeat as I tried to sing along, nailing every single note (not even close).

Over his close to two decade long career Hodges has written and produced for the likes of Kelly Clarkson (“Because of You), Celine Dion (“This Time”), Daughtry (“What About Now”), Carrie Underwood (“Play On”), Christina Perri (“A Thousand Years”) and so many more winning several BMI Awards.

The intimate event will be capped with a specialty tasting presented by Basil Hayden that will be paired with delectable small bites. This event is not to be missed on a true Sunday Funday Yountville Live style! Secure your seat here*.

* This is a special event and not included in the standard Taste of Yountville ticket.

Join Us for the Red Carpet Gala with Chef Stephanie Izard and the X Ambassadors

Every trip to Chicago finds me making a reservation at the Girl & the Goat. My taste buds simply refuse to miss out — even once — on the delicious eats provided by Chef Stephanie Izard, the James Beard Award-winning chef who also recently won Food Network’s Iron Chef challenge (and crowned Bravo’s Top Chef long before that).

So I was pleased to learn she is the featured chef for the Yountville Live Red Carpet Gala that will take place on March 16th. With three Award winning Chicago restaurants under her ownership (Girl and the Goat, Little Goat, and Duck Duck Goat), Izard is a true master at her craft and we are in for a treat.

A four course treat to be exact.

The glorious bites served will be paired with a beautiful selection of Charles Krug Wines, which happens to be the oldest winery in Napa Valley. Fun fact about Charles Krug Wines — the winery was established in 1861 and 2018 marks the 75th Anniversary of Cesare and Rosa Mondavi’s purchase of the winery, their family has been making incredible wines ever since. We think the perfect way to celebrate their success is to promise to drink all the wine they provide for the event while we devour everything Stephanie and her team places in front of us.

After the epicurean extravaganza ends, guests will be escorted to an intimate performance space, featuring a very exclusive performance by multi-Platinum selling group X Ambassadors, who are best known for their hit singles “Jungle,” “Renegades” and “Unsteady” from their debut LP VHS. The food and wine should be enough — but there is entertainment too! Great entertainment!

Our MC for the evening is Kelly Rizzo, the host of “Eat Travel Rock TV,” the popular on-demand entertainment series where she goes behind the scenes and off the cuff with master chefs, rockstars, and other creative industry heavyweights.

This is a very special event, one you are sure to have FOMO over if you miss it. So don’t!

ACM In the Round, In Wine Country: Featuring Jillian Jacqueline, Maggie Rose, The Sisterhood Band and Tenille Townes

ACM In the Round, In Wine CountryDon’t miss your chance to be a part of a true country music guitar pull, in the round, in wine country! Similar to those that take place in the legendary Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, TN. Across the rich history of country music, the guitar pull is literally named for when a bunch of artists playing together would only have one guitar between them, and they had to “pull” the guitar from the others in order to play.

Presented in partnership with the Academy of Country Music (ACM) the event features some of today’s biggest up-and-coming female country artists who are leading the pack of “New Artist To Watch In 2018” lists. The up close and personal morning will kick off at 10:30 AM at Regusci Winery, one of Napa Valley’s most breathtaking and historic wineries, where Jillian Jacqueline, Maggie Rose, The Sisterhood Band and Tenille Townes will wow the crowd with tales of songwriting and acoustic performances. This performance is going to be a once in a lifetime experience that any true country fan would not want to miss.

As if that weren’t enough to light a fire under your feet, a portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit ACM Lifting Lives®, which is dedicated to improving lives through the power of music. Their grant cycle funds programs that promote education and healing through the power of music. Attendees will be treated to an exclusive tasting of Regusci Winery’s estate wines while enjoying the scenery and music for an experience that will delight all the senses.
