Experience the Culinary Mastery of Stephanie Izard at Yountville Live

Stephanie IzardSome of us fell in love with her on Bravo’s Top Chef show, where she took the title (in 2008). Others discovered her as you watched her dominate the kitchen, and also take the title, recently on Food Network’s Iron Chef Gauntlet. Maybe you made a reservation at one of her award winning restaurants and that is when it all clicked for you.

No matter how or when you discovered this James Beard award winning chef, you know Stephanie Izard does not mess around when it comes to creating incredible bites for you to swoon over, time and time again.

And lucky for you, there are a couple opportunities to enjoy the creative mastery of Izard during Yountville Live! You can catch the What’s Shaking Little Goat?” demo* on Saturday, March 17th from 12:00pm where she will bring the flavors from her book, Girl & The Goat and the spices that go with it, cooking sauces and spice mixes to give you some new ideas to take home and test out.

At 2:00pm that same day*, Stephanie will join her husband, Gary Valentine, the “Sommelier of Craft Beer,” as he explores the hoppier side of life with some tasty treats from Golden Road Brewing and other yummy things produced by Stephanie’s incredibly creative hands.

We are thrilled to have Stephanie, and you too Gary!, be part of Yountville Live and know the Goat Army cannot wait to see her too. This is an excellent opportunity to learn from an incredible chef, and an even more amazing human being. Get your tickets today!

A Big Easy Cajun Throwdown with Marc Broussard, Ted Broussard and Chef Tiffany Sewell

Marc BroussardThere is one thing I have been missing in my life, and his name is Marc Broussard.

It sometimes happens when you get lazy and don’t change the radio station often enough. You stay in a lane too long (looking at you POP playlist).

When going through the Spotify list for Yountville Live, I quickly realized how important it is to mix up my stations every day to ensure I don’t miss out on exciting talent like Marc.

Marc is a talented singer-songwriter, born and bred on the bayou. His big voice and big heart shines through his music which is a beautiful mix of classic R&B and soul.

From the first note you’ll agree — he is “Easy to Love.”

Now that I have seen the error of my ways, I have changed my stations to go like this: Monday is now EDM * Tuesday is reggae * Wednesday is country * Thursday is latin jazz * Friday is Marc Broussard * Saturday is pop * Sunday is buddha lounge. See? All better.

Now that my love of Marc has caught up with the rest of the world, we can move on…

He is coming to Yountville Live on Friday, March 16th, where he will be playing alongside his father, Ted Broussard, an acclaimed Louisiana Hall of Fame guitarist and former member of The Boogie Kings. While they are strumming, singing and storytelling, Chef Tiffany Sewell of famed New Orleans Restaurant Brennan’s will be preparing delectable Cajun bites that will surely make you want to book the next flight to New Orleans to experience all of the goodness that is this region — the people, places, the music, and especially, the food.

Tickets are available*, but space is limited so we encourage you to buy them now!
