Drawn to the musical talent featured during the first Yountville Live, Anthony Cosacchi and his fiancé Christy Bell have been enjoying this special weekend each year since we launched the event back in 2015.
They fell in love with Yountville the minute they stepped into town. So much so that Anthony chose the backdrop of the Villago as the place to propose. And we are happy to report, she said yes!
Congrats to you both — makes me wonder where the wedding will take place … so many vineyards here, so many options.
Some of the standout concerts for them have been from Justin Furstenfeld (Blue October), Matt Nathanson, OAR, Colbie Calliat, and Scars on 45.
Anthony and Christy also enjoy discovering new artists, the Bubbles Brunch, and the Eight at Eight dinner series. A bonus was sitting next to Justin at dinner and being able to chat with him throughout the evening.
Anthony even picked up a signed guitar from one of our pledge campaigns while at the event. Nice little keepsake for him to take home in addition to the presents his ears, and tummy, received throughout the weekend.
They have made lasting friendships here — from our fearless leader Bobbi Hach Jacobs, to winemakers Mitch and Robin from Mersenne Wines, Tim and Janet from Minnesota (celebrating four years with us too!), two-time Yountville Livers Curtis and Renee from Maryland, and Howard and Dean who they first met at a Silver Trident Wine Club event.
“We appreciate everything Bobbii does with these events. She is such a great person and you can tell she truly loves these artists, the chefs and meeting the attendees. Her passion for producing this event shows through and we always enjoy getting to talk with her.”
The experiences you have at Yountville Live are really like no other. This is not a 100,000 person festival where you wait in line for an hour to get a corndog. This is an intimate gathering of people who appreciate great music, incredible food and some of the best wine in Napa Valley. This is a place where you get the chance to meet the artists, the chefs and the winemakers who are hanging out at the event because they love being there too. It really is something to be able to walk up to an artist and talk about life, wine, food, travel, and so much more without a bunch of screaming fans all around.
It is an experience you have to experience to fully understand how it feels to be there. To be that close. To just be.
Something we are sure our friends at Southwest Airlines will love to hear, Anthony, once a loyal US Airlines customer, has become a loyal Southwest Airlines advocate, A-list Preferred, and Companion Pass holder. He loves their service, their perks, and is currently hoarding points to enjoy more concerts, like the Matt Nathanson [Chase] event they attended in Phoenix, AZ.
We want to thank Anthony and Christy for being part of Yountville Live, especially for coming back year after year, for sharing their story with us and for saying a lot of nice things about the event too.
Hey you two, drinks on us when we see you [again] in Yountville!
