      “J” is for John. “M” is for Michelle. And together, they are the iconic curators/winemakers that make JaM Cellars, a hip tasting room in Downtown Napa. JaM Cellars is a truly a special space to experience their delicious wines, and to combine an up-close artist “jam” hosted by Ian White, winemaker and SF Magazine wine editor.

      Together they’ll be presenting a special “toast” of their selection of scrumptious JaM Wines paired with a “jam session” with national recording artist Brendan James, for a true look into the heart of a spectacular artist and how he approaches songwriting and creation.

      There may be some extra instruments stowed away to have some fun, and this will be a not-to-be-missed opportunity to sit with an artist and find out the real passion behind his songs.

      Guests will start off with an educational tour of the distillery with our brand ambassador then follow with a special whiskey barrel tasting hosted by Arthur. You’ll be ushered upstairs to the hidden “prohibition” style bar – their epic grand tasting salon where guests will get a mini flight of craft spirits and learn the proper method of spirits tasting. Finish it off with a cocktail making presentation of two fantastic cocktails made by their mixologists. Oh yea… there will be small bites, too.

      The infamous duo of the popular Chicago cooking legacy and scene, The Hearty Boys (AKA Dan Smith and Steve McDonagh), chef and cocktail experts, restauranteurs, authors, and entertainment rock-stars and curators of fun and fabulous dining are designing an interactive experience in the kitchens of Napa’s own Kitchen Collective – the new private “Urban Cooking Club” in Downtown Napa.

      This fabulous class will teach you how to make a fresh take on a Napa favorite dish. Dan will teach you to “pull” fresh Mozzarella (a great party trick for years to come and not to mention delicious) and how to fry the perfect green tomato for a Fried Green Tomato Caprese Salad. Steve will show you a fresh and fun way to use egg whites in your craft cocktails, and you’ll combine some unexpected ingredients to create a fabulous Artichoke Sour! Only 20 people can join this party so make sure to purchase your tickets immediately!

      Each attendee will also receive a custom Yountville Live apron from Chef Works – our partners in dressing our fabulous chefs for a job beautifully done!

      Want to make pizzas that make your friends show up for every game? Making pizza seems simple, but there are literally thousands of ways to combine doughs with a pantry of ingredients and live fire to create beautiful pizzas and flatbreads that tempt even the pickiest person.

      The chefs of Kitchen Collective, the new “Urban Cooking Club” in Downtown Napa, Itamar Abramovich and Antonia Economides will join forces with Napa Valley Wine Train pastry chef, Evan Brittell, to take you through the creation of wood-fired mini masterpieces.

      Get ready for your own “iron chef” competition as you are chosen for a team to create a pizza concept, place your own flavors, and then fire up the wining pizza.       Dave Miner, owner, visionary and dream-maker of an astonishingly robust and incredible catalogue of exquisite wines at Miner Family Vineyards will flex his incredible personal love and deep knowledge of Jazz music and the wine world in a select afternoon of true artistic appreciation. Dave is not only a literary maven, winemaker, business man and collector, but he also has breathed life into one of the most revered custom jazz guitar companies in the world.

      He and the legendary Howard Paul, CEO of Benedetto Guitars, will be sitting down with some fine wine and some one of a kind guitars. They’ll talk a bit, and if you’re lucky, chances are Dave and Howard will pull out some of the most gorgeous guitars ever seen. They might trade a lick or two, but they will be discussing the delicate balance between technology and artistry, as it applies to guitar making and wine making.
