JESSUP CELLARS

Winemaker Rob Lloyd of Jessup Cellars earned his MS in Viticulture & Enology from the University of California Davis and worked for many prestigious wineries including Cakebread, Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars and La Crema. Rob began crafting Handwritten Wines in the 2009 season and took the position of Executive Winemaker at Jessup Cellars in 2010.

At Jessup Cellars, Rob focuses on the ‘Art of the Blend’, crafting five distinct cuvées, ‘Manny’s Blend’, ‘Juel’, ‘Table for Four’, ‘Graziella’ and ‘Rougette’, as well as our proprietary fortified dessert wine, ‘Infinite Recursion’ Tawny Red Wine. Rob also blends varietals from multiple, select vineyards to create deeper complexity. These wines include Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petite Sirah and Zinfandel.
